The Harwood Family have been involved in the Coal Trade for 50 years, we are now the only remaining independent ‘Approved Coal & Log Merchant’ in Dorset.

Our father, Jim Harwood took over the Stockley yard at Corfe Castle in 1976, followed three years later by Reg Gardner’s business in Parkstone, Dorset. Since his retirement we have continued to run the family coal & log business which we have always worked in.

These years of experience combined with sound local knowledge of the following areas, Purbeck, Wool, Poole, Bournemouth, Wimborne and Christchurch, enable us to offer a prompt, efficient delivery service.

We stock Logs, Kindling and Quality Fuels, including Anthracites from Wales and a range of UK Manufactured Smokeless Fuels.
